Antique/vintage cast iron steam train coat rack
Hello John, what do you think of this?
I bought it a few years ago at a car boot, it was a rusty mess. It is 32" wide and cast iron so quite heavy and has no numbers or maker name. When I bought it it had the remains of a few broken coat hooks running along the bottom. I removed them, filled in the holes, cleaned it up and painted it (maybe the wrong thing to do!). It has been in the shed but I now plan to hang it on a wall indoors if it can take the weight!
I have looked on line but am yet to see another like this.
Thanks John .

How old do you think it is approximately John and how much do you think it is worth?
Thanks

If it helps, I bought the exact same thing from Bygone Times about 15 years ago and think it was in the region of £30.
