I recently purchased this signed antique dish which I think is bronze. It is 13cms in diameter and has a bit of weight to it. I just can't make out the signature, what do you think about it, French maybe?

Hi, very difficult to pass comment without holding the item.

My fist instinct is to say reproduction.

My reason is that when ever I see an item that has dirt / soil in between the design, it makes me suspicious.

If you want to call in to the shop I will give a free and true valuation and opinion.
