i have just opened by online antique shop on etsy, far better vibe and fee's than ebay.

massive exposure and growing very fast

one question , is there a cheaper way for sending items to america than using royal mail/parcelforce?

I have uses lots of different companies.

all rubbish.

remember china and pottery you can not insure.

POST OFFICE ........... royal mail/parcelforce is the best.

but may be other posters have different opinions.

have you any advice on what antiques sell in america?

i.e flow blue , unusual carnival glass ect?

America is a big place, includes Canada.

USA, you can divide into
east coast, Northern States
west coast,
California,
southern states east,
Floridia
Mid US,

Take Furniture as an example, tables chairs sideboards, chests wardrobes etc
1900s Mahogany -southern states
1900,s oak -California
Period Oak - east coast Northern States
french style furniture Louisiana
Florida - low end furniture
Georgia/SC.NC. Interior design, look alike antiques.
Art Deco, New York, L.A, Atlanta
Mid states, low end Victorian items,
Country furniture (top quality) Phil, Virginia area, coffers, windsor chairs, Lancashire Laderbacks. etc

as you can see quite complicated.

Big Weekend sale at the fairgrounds South Atlanta, any thing sels.

Remember Price will sell anything.
