Hello everyone I am new to all this but have just cleared out a relative's flat and have now got quite a few items that may or not be of any value so would appreciate any information that would help.
1st thing is this teapot I have been trying to decipher the hallmark but not having much luck I am pretty sure it is only silver plate but not sure of anything else. Also should I clean it ?

Looks to be the mark for the company :

Robert Pringle (later Robert Pringle and Sons)

And is their silver plate mark !

It is a shame silver plated items bring so little in auction.

The Italians have stopped buying silver plate.
