A pensioner who was caught by Morrisons controversial new two hour shopping rule this weekend has said she’ll never shop there again.
The lady from Bathsprings - who’s asked not to be named - explained on Saturday afternoon how she’d done her weekly shop and then enjoyed a fish and chip lunch.
It was only after her meal she discovered to her horror she was a minute or two over her allotted time.
She is now awaiting a fine, and said she’ll pay it - under sufferance-– but claims she’ll look elsewhere to shop in future.
She still drives so thinks that one option will be the Ringtail retail park where shoppers can have three hours free parking and a choice of Aldi to shop, Booths for lunch and - from this morning - a Texaco garage to fill up at.
