Mark Gore's said 'goodbye' to Bramleys after 23 years...
The popular Ormskirk coffee house is in capable new hands after being owned and run by Ormskirk resident Mark since 1994.
This afternoon, he told QLocal: "Having decided a while ago that it was time to do something different with my life, I have been fortunate that local people, mother and son, Christine and Sam Trill and head chef, Robert Boldizar have bought my business and in doing so are guaranteeing its continuing success and popularity in the town centre.
"Both Sam and Robbie having been working at Bramley's for some time now and are aware of what I have strived to achieve in offering good homemade food with friendly and decent service in a comfortable environment.
"Understanding what Bramley's has meant to local residents as a place to bring their loved ones, friends and colleagues to meet, chat, eat, drink and hopefully above all to enjoy, I feel proud to have played a part in that and would like to thank all my customers for their support and loyalty over the years.
"I would also like to wish Sam, Christine and Robbie my very best wishes and much success as they carry on business as usual at Bramley's," he added.
Bramley’s opened in October 1994, and from the beginning the team aimed to provide good service married with freshly prepared, quality food, ranging from hearty breakfasts to lunches and homemade cakes.
Wherever possible, the food is homemade and the management strive to source the best quality possible.
Bramley’s have a table licence for serving bottled beers and wines and have two floors that can seat up to 90 people in pure comfort. Bramley’s is open from 8:30am serving breakfast, mid-morning snacks and lunches, afternoon teas and fantastic Lavazza coffee and award winning Suki Teas.
