Diners and staff at a thriving restaurant in Aughton raised a glass to a successful first year in business - and many more to come.

The Town Green Brasserie, part of the award-winning Seafood Pub Company group, celebrated its first birthday by inviting regular customers, local businesses, friends and family to make a toast and enjoy complimentary canapes and Prosecco.

“It has been a hugely successful and rewarding year, and we wanted to do something nice to mark the occasion,” said Al, general manager.

“The local community has made us feel really welcome, and we can’t thank them enough for their continued support and loyalty.

“The Town Green Brasserie has a reputation for delivering quality food and drink, and a great service with a friendly smile. We have lots of plans and ideas in place, and are looking forward to the future.”

The event was a great chance for guests to mingle, network and spend a relaxed afternoon in wonderful surroundings.

Canapes on offer included duck spring rolls, haddock goujons, cheese fritters with caramelised onion mayo and Goosnargh chicken and ham pasties.

The Town Green Brasserie serves food seven days a week, with a lunch club menu and coffee and cake offering available during the day, and breakfast at weekends. Kids can also eat free every day between 12noon and 7pm. Seafood features on the new menu, caught off the coast and selected by renowned Fleetwood fish expert Chris Neve.

The venue hosts live music acts every fourth Friday of the month, which really adds to the vibe and atmosphere. Locals, but also guests from further afield, travel to the events, enjoying the music and food and drink on offer.
