An Aughton lady has said a fond farewell to colleagues after retiring from the Preston based charity Methodist Action (North West) Ltd.
Ruth Morris - pictured centre, right - was its administrator and spent 10 years working there; her career began as a languages teacher in Warrington and she also taught at Scarisbrick Hall School and Deyes High, Maghull before taking an admin. course at Ormskirk College, Hants Lane.
She then took up the post of Department Administrator in the Business School at Edge Hill University for 6 years before moving to Methodist Action in 2007.
Ruth, who is married with three grown up children, has recently returned from visiting family and friends in Germany with husband Adrian.
