Iceland will soon have not one but two stores in the town, and isn't giving the town centre the cold shoulder as it expands locally, supplementing its current Aughton St. store with a new Food Warehouse on the Hattersley Retail Park.

It’s taking over the old Netto for the new venture which will open its doors in the New Year; QLocal’s visited its Food Warehouse in Warrington and came away impressed.

Not saying it won't happen, but there are quite a few of the new Food Warehouses quite close to existing Iceland stores. Subtly different target audience.

The only one I know of is Warrington and it's not near an iceland
