Schools from St Mary's (Scarisbrick), St John’s RC and Lordsgate Township from Burscough along with youngsters from the Sea Cadets were among those honouring the fallen at a special Armistice service at the Booths on Saturday.
They were joined by Commander Bernard Thompson RN with the 45th Ormskirk Burscough Methodist Scout Leaders - he's pictured with two young men proudly wearing miniatures of their Great Grandad's Medals.
And representing the Borough Council were Mayor, Neil Furey and his wife met along with Deputy Mayor, Cllr. Noel Delaney and Mrs Ann Stubbert who joined Standard Bearers from the Skelmersdale Veterans Association.
