West Lancashire Borough Council is urging people to check their details are correct on the 2018 Register of Electors.

The revised version of the Register of Electors is available for inspection, under supervision, during normal office hours at the Council Offices, 52 Derby Street, Ormskirk (Monday-Thursday 9.00am-5.00pm, Friday 9.00am-4.45pm).

West Lancashire Borough Council elections are taking place in 18 of the area's 25 Wards on Thursday 3 May 2018. People who are not on the Register of Electors will not be able to vote in these elections. Not being on the Register of Electors may also affect your Credit Score.

Kim Webber, Electoral Registration Officer, said: “You need to be on the electoral roll to have your say in the upcoming West Lancashire Borough Council elections, and incorrect details may result in residents not being able to vote – so it really is worth taking the time to check."
