So it late night and your kids who need to go to school the next day and are being kept awake by the thumping noise omitted from these establishments. Just who will you contact! Environmental Health, well that’s just an answer phone. And though they,do reply, and from personal experience, it can take months before any meaning full action is taken and even this is very limited. The Council! Well they have you contact environmental health! The Police, “nothing to do with us gov”! Contact the Council. The Licensing authority, You need to contact Environmental health, so now you’ve entered the never ending circle!
Just take a walk through the length and breath of the town most evenings and listen to the excessive noise being omitted from these establishments! This despite them all having some sort of restrictions placed on their Licence! The facts are there is nobody to enforce these restriction when needed so these restrictions are in face totally meaning less.
A council refusing to listen to the needs of residents and their children.
