Lancashire residents are also reminded to make sure they are registered to vote so they can have their say at the election. If they have never voted before or have not voted for a while, or have recently changed name or address, they may not be registered to vote.
The deadline to register to vote in the upcoming elections is 13 April 2017.
To register to vote, update details on the electoral register or apply for a postal or proxy vote, please visit www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
