An Aughton man accused of attempted murder will appear before Preston Crown Court next month.

Mark Gibbons, 62, of Bold Lane was remanded in custody after his first court appearance on Tuesday before Preston Magistrates.

A spokesman for Preston courts confirmed that he will appear in a Crown Court hearing on the morning of Tuesday 21 August.
