It seems inconceivable that there are folk in Ormskirk who have to sleep in makeshift 'bedrooms' after spending a day on the streets.
That's the case though for at least one homeless man who after having his tent stolen from a secluded spot near the railway station park now besd down in a tiny wooden shed near the M&S Food Hall.
QLocal's Roger Blaxall chatted to him one Thursday evening recently as he made a regular foray into one of the charity bins behind Age Concern on Burscough St. He made some rich pickings, too, leaving with a collections of toys, CDs, DVDs and books to sell on to a friend who does car boots and gives him a cut of the profits.
