QLocal is delighted to post this e-mail from Halsall reader Barry Critchley with his observations on the current state of a number of roundabouts in the west Lancashire area
'Hi Roger
I highlighted this months ago and so did you through QLocal news.
LCC & WLBC have money from CIL, the community infrastructure levy that has been raised from granting planning permission to building firms; there is no reason that this money can’t be used to upgrade these blots on the landscape.'
His comments come in the light of this story from OWL posted on Wednesday: http://ormskirk.qlocal.co.uk/ormskir...m-55031559.htm

What do Mooney Everett and Martin Mere think of their advertising and brands being associated with these sad and frequently unkempt roundabouts?
They are paying money to the councils for their advertising and so there is already an obvious pot of money which should be being used.
