Edge Hill’s annual invasion of Ormskirk has begun.
And some canny students are using every trick in the book to ensure they can park at the Uni. rather than chance it in the mile radius of nearby roads that have been packed with cars from Monday.
QLocal's heard of one cheeky student who has borrowed his granddad’s disabled parking badge to leave in his windscreen at the Uni., while one local businessman told yesterday how he asked three students to move their car off Wigan Road pavements as they were obstructing pedestrians; one even parked in his own private space on Windmill Avenue!
Meanwhile, a lady on Alty’s Lane who’s semi disabled has put up 'polite' notices asking locals and students not to park outside here bungalow home.
