Freewheeling – or rather three wheeling - Kenny Matthews has hit on a great idea to promote his business straight out of ‘Only fools and horses’ - well almost!

He travelled over 300 miles to buy an old Reliant Robin which he's painted canary yellow and parked on the busy A570 near Hurlston Hall.

Del Boy’s Reliant Regal van is now an iconic piece of UK motoring history and there are so many out there it’s hard to know which is the real one!

And Kenny’s Robin’s been attracting plenty of attention too – but to ensure it’s not the WRONG kind of attention he’s chained it to a lamp post and padlocked both doors.

Said Kenny of Halsall: “I’ve brush painted the car bright yellow and parked it up as an eye catching way to promote my business.”

Fly posters have got more imaginative I see. Lampposts, crash barriers at roundabouts & junctions are gaily adorned with flyers for long passed events. Circus posters on telephone boxes. Professionally made signs for car hire companies on bus shelters. And entire painted vehicles (or piles of palettes) by the side of the road in various locations in Skem.
