Pupils at Ormskirk West End School had some added excitement to their lunch break today as the North West Air Ambulance attended a medical emergency nearby.
Accompanied by an NWAS land ambulance it's believed paramedics helped a patient in nearby Douglas Drive - more details on QLocal Ormskirk tomorrow.
Pictured are pupils and teachers - and a small group of locals - who watched the air ambulance leave the nearby West End park at around 1.30pm.
