MIND won't be returning to Ormskirk any time soon - perhaps...
After closing its popular charity shop on Aughton Street in late June, it's sent this statement to the busy QLocal newsdesk.
Andrew Vale, Director of Retail, told QLocal: “We’re sorry to say that the MIND shop in Ormskirk recently ceased to trade.
As a charity we regularly review all of our shops to look at current and long-term profitability and ensure we are using our resources effectively to support Mind's core work supporting people with mental health problems.
As part of each review we consider whether moving locations of certain stores, to put them in the best position to make as much income as possible, will allow us to make the biggest impact. At this time we are not planning to open another shop in the area, although this may change in the future.”
