Ormskirk's cafe society is about to get bigger next month.

A new town centre cafe is currently taking shape over two floors of the former Samuels jewellers which has been empty for the past two years or so.

North Wales based 'Love to Eat' is planning to open in early February and is now advertising for staff .

Olivia Reynolds from the company told QLocal this morning: "We are hoping to open on Monday 6th February.

"We are looking to hire a manager as well as experienced cooks and front of house staff, preferably with experience of using a coffee machine/ barista trained.

"The cafe will be over two floors and will be similar in style to our other establishments. Our interior is based around a modern shabby chic which seems to appeal to everyone.

"Being a family run business sets us apart from most as the family play an important role in every aspect of the business.

"We specialise in homemade cakes and good coffee, as well as homemade soups, a wide variety of sandwiches and many breakfast options.

"We also offer a range of main meals," she added.

Love to Eat has five other cafes with the nearest to Ormskirk in Southport which opened last April. A North Wales based company, it also has cafes in Conwy and Llandudno.
