This enigmatic image of a spade left on the fire station roundabout can only mean one thing - Ormskirk's secret gardener has struck!
And despite the best efforts of QLocal's Roger Blaxall to identify him or her he's (as yet) failed to 'weed' them out...
Whoever was working there on Friday has tidied up each of the borders and planted some winter friendly foliage.
Meanwhile, rumours that Edge Hill University wanted to 'adopt' the roundabout have been denied by its PR office.
