Ormskirk Theatre Company are celebrating their 25th Anniversary performing Teechers (yes, with a double 'e'), a classic comedy by John Godber, revolving around the experiences of Nixon, a fresh new drama teacher at Whitewall Comprehensive School in the 1980s.
There, he meets and inspires Salty, Gail and Hobby, three young students who escape from their humdrum ordinary lives by presenting an enthusiastic drama... telling the story of their drama teacher's first year at school.
John Godber's heartwarming comedy is the perfect showcase for Ormskirk Theatre Company and their new portable theatre facilities at the Toby Carvery, County Road in Ormskirk. The play is being staged from Thursday 21st to Saturday 23rd July at 7.30pm -
tickets are available from the OTC's website,
www.ormskirktheatrecompany.co.uk or by telephoning the OTC hotline on 07757 416560. The venue has disabled access and the audience are, of course able to take advantage of the bar facilities and the carvery before and after the show.
