Sporting Challenge had an enjoyable trip to the Lake District on Saturday.
The group went to Bowness on Windermere with Don Fraser Coaches via Burscough then Skelmersdale.
Once there they did some sightseeing, had lunch and finally had a boat ride on Lake Windermere; the young folk had a great day and the weather was sunny.
The day was funded by grants from the Barchester Foundation, Burscough Parish Council, Skelton Bounty and the Lancashire County Council Champion for Youth.
Edward McCarthy: “I would like to thank the funders who made the day possible. The group really enjoyed it.”
