A derelict Mission held a memorial service with a difference following the tragic death of Ormskirk's Joseph Whittle on Wednesday afternoon.
Friends gathered at Scarth Hill Mission on Thursday evening to remember the life of the popular local who worked in the former Tesco Metro and then the town's Home Bargains store.
Police launched a search on Wednesday lunchtime after he was reported missing from home.
Sadly, he was found in the Mission where he had taken his own life; on Saturday afternoon QLocal's Roger Blaxall took these pictures at the 'shrine' in his memory.
Meanwhile, yesterday morning, the Police PR office confirmed that another suicide in Ruff Woods, Ormskirk on Thursday morning was NOT linked to Mr Whittle's death.
