Police were called to a freak accident which saw an Ormskirk driver reverse through a wall outside the council flats on Burscough Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The wall was demolished with two police cars and three officer in attendance according to one eye witness who spoke to QLocal's Roger Blaxall yesterday morning.
"The car was balanced on the edge. Another foot or so and it could have been far worse," said the man.
It's not known if the driver suffered a medical incident, had had one two many - or was simply a bad driver...
