'Knit and natters' at a popular Ormskirk wool shop will fall silent soon as Knitwise closes on Church St.
But it's not all bad news from owner Myra McKay - she's hoping to find a selection of venues for her popular knitting afternoons and evenings in and around Ormskirk, all of which will be publicised on QLocal!
The closure on 17 August is another sad episode in the life of Church Street now noticeably quieter since Tesco Metro closed a few years ago.
Myra's pictured in red, second left, at a recent knit and natter session.

Being a male non-knitter, I've never had reason to go in the shop. However I'll miss it because of how much it brightened up that little corner of the town. Such original window displays. A shop with real character.
