Work started yesterday on Ormskirk's second Costa Coffee.
It’s being built on Burscough Road and the long slim building will be just a metre away from the Home Bargains store on the Hattersley Retail Park.
The new coffee shop will be open well in time for Christmas - QLocal's Roger Blaxall wonders how many yummy mummies will park their Range Rovers and Evoque's on Burscough Road leading to more traffic disruption...

Yes what a great idea giving planning for this, lets pull more people out of the town centre and make it even more of a ghost town. Next article will be about how the council can increase footfall in the town centre.......

With respect, QLocal Ormskirk's not a local on line newspaper but a community news website and there's a big difference - I'm sure thousands of our readers would agree, too! RB

Nor is it your personal blog. Your thoughts are not needed in an article. Especially when they are stuck in the 70s. You've been called out before for racist, sexist and offensive comments in your articles. Why not respect your readers and apologise when they are offended? Even better, report on the local community news and keep your personal attempts at humour to personal pages. Not being a local newspaper doesn't give you free reign to offend.
Once again though, you and your usual band of followers will see this as just an attack on you and either ignore it or call me out for it rather than admit, once again, your comments were unacceptable.

"wonders how many yummy mummies" What a pervert, is that all women are good for in your eyes? eye candy for you?
Are you going to spend all your time there ogling them, and perving on them?
