Take part in the Citizen and Stakeholder Surveys

Residents, community groups and local businesses are being invited to give their views on West Lancashire Borough Council services and make suggestions on how the authority should make reductions in spending or increase income.

A number of residents have been sent a letter inviting them to take part in the 2018 Citizens Survey and give their opinions so they can help influence decisions that will be taken by the Council. Instructions in the letter tell the recipients how they can complete the survey.

Everyone living in West Lancashire can take part in the survey, even if they have not received a letter inviting them to do so. They can access the survey by visiting www.westlancs.gov.uk/cssurvey.

There is also a Stakeholder Survey 2018 at www.westlancs.gov.uk/cssurvey which community groups and businesses are encouraged to complete and make their voices heard and influence decisions that will be taken by the Council. Only one response can be accepted on behalf of each organisation. If any members of organisations wish to give their views as individual residents they can do so via the Citizen Survey.

Both surveys are open until 22 March 2018.

Cllr Ian Moran, Leader of the Council, said: “We encourage as many residents, tenants, community groups, organisations and businesses as possible to take this opportunity to give their views on these important issues.

"This survey is carried out each year and it is great that so many people complete it and let us know their views."

Paper copies of both surveys can be requested by contacting the customer engagement team on 01695 585216 or calling at the customer service points in Ormskirk or Skelmersdale.
