Ormskirk's biggest and best ever MotorFest has now taken pole position as one of the biggest events of its type in the north.
Now in its seventh year, the bank holiday sunshine brought an estimated 40,000 visitors to the town to celebrate everything on two, three and four wheels.
Coronation Park was a feast for the eyes with classics covering every square inch - that's not the new Mayoral car by the way just Mayor Neil Furey and his wife chatting to well known classic car collector Peter Reeves with his Rolls Royce!
And there was a welcome boost in trade for the bars, pubs, shops and charity shops which opened for the event.
