A quarter of a million pounds and counting!
That's the good news from Ormskirk St Anne's RC Church where its roof appeal fund has reached another 'high'
Junior committee members are pictured updating the thermometer to reflect that we have passed the quarter of a million mark; also shown is the newly rebuilt roof over the Sanctuary which is the first major phase of the repair which we completed this year.
Chair of the fund raising committee, Phil Wilkinson, told QLocal yesterday: "I am delighted that we have completed the first phase of this important project and am extremely grateful to everyone who has contributed their time, ideas, prayers and money to our appeal.
A quarter of a million pounds is a massive achievement, but it is only half of what we need - so our fundraising will continue in 2019."
