It's the high-light of the year at Aughton Christ Church and this weekend’s open tower day again proved a great success.
Folk who has a guided tour of the tower also spent time learning the fine art of campanology with Paul Coggan on the way up.
The weather broke at around three o'clock for visitors to get a brilliant view of west Lancashire, Sefton, Liverpool and north Wales.
There was also a host of attractions in the church including a gingerbread trail and fantastic selection of old church magazines to read and reminisce through.
