These were the scenes in Bickerstaffe earlier this evening after a two car crash brought traffic at the M58 motorway junction to a halt.





Police were called out at around 8pm after a BMW 3 series was in collision with a Ford Fiesta G4S van; a police officer at the scene said no one was injured.





Traffic was held up for around 20 minutes while a flatbed truck collected the BMW from the carriageway.
