One man's dream to open his own museum in Scarisbrick dedicated to west Lancashire life was realised on Saturday afternoon.
Les Rynhart showed off his fascinating collection of farm tools, machinery and other memorabilia he's been collecting - with a little help from his friends who brought a variety of stationary engines, a vintage stock car and three classic British bikes.
The event was a great success, attracting over 50 folk to Turning Lane; QLocal had an exclusive invite to the event which saw entertainment by Formby's Uke 3A and a chance to view his collection of artifacts from 1900 to the sixties.
Les is now looking for volunteers to help make the museum a permanent fixture - if you'd like to help call him on 01704 547097.
