It’s all smiles at one of Ormskirk’s most popular bakeries as Greenhalgh’s hits the big 60.
And its Burscough St. shop is still as popular as ever with locals if lunchtime queues are anything to go by!
As one of the foremost retailers in the town centre, it has a loyal base of customers since opening back in 1991.
The shop’s currently run by Greg Hardman - pictured centre - who joined the company in March 2017 and believes that outstanding customer service - where customers feel valued and welcomed – goes hand in hand with top quality bakery products.
Ormskirk's one of a thriving chain of 64 retail shops, along with a wholesale and fleet sector, supplying high quality bakery products to convenience stores, high street retail chain stores, farm shops and sole proprietorships, through to nationwide providers and including major supermarket chains.
Greenhalgh’s also supply a network of hotels, airlines, garden centres, theme parks and motorway service stations as well as an established export market.
It operates from two relatively close manufacturing sites in Lostock, Bolton, Lancashire, and its product range encompasses a wide range of bread, morning goods, freshly baked savoury products, breakfast items, confectionery, sandwiches, cakes, soups and ready meals.
It also produces an increasingly popular high quality range of wedding and celebration cakes. All its bakery products are produced using traditional and established methods; it's easy to see the passionate eye for detail in the products which has travelled down the generation and will continue through to the next generation.
