Woodlands Animal Sanctuary have their Easter Open day this Saturday.

Will you buy a slice of homemade cake that will mean they can buy washing up liquid to keep the cats bowls clean? Will you take your family, meaning your tickets will be enough for them to buy a miracle nipple to feed an orphaned kitten? Will you win some prizes on the tombola, buying a bale of straw for the ponies beds? Will you all get lunch raising enough money to vaccinate one cat, long after it waves good bye to Woodlands?

The dedicated team at Woodlands would love to see you in person, to show you their fabulous facilities, the full cattery of deserving cats who are looking for their furever home. They will welcome you to give Dolly a good ole scratch behind her big ole donkey ears, and to keep your pockets hidden, while chatting with the cheeky goats!

For the younger visitors there is an Easter Egg hunt, games and crafts to keep them entertained, with plenty of stalls, a dog agility display to enjoy and of course their infamous Fun Dog Show. They have had some super prizes donated for the dog show too – but remember, you’ve got to be in it, to win it!

Woodlands are very excited to share with you that, that they are also launching their newest venture; Children’s parties. Come along to the open day to discover their full range of party packages and to see how children can experience the magic of animals to celebrate their special day.

Advance tickets are still available from their website, allowing you to take advantage of the discounted prices of tickets to those on the door. They are asking you to help them raise the money they need to provide the service they do, to both vulnerable animals and families in your area in their hour of need.
