These are the charred remains of a two-year-old VW up! which was burnt out after an early morning arson attack today on Yew Tree Road, Ormskirk.
Police believe it may be a targeted crime against a well known local businessman; it happened at about 00.45am opposite the Yew Tree Pub.
No one was injured in the incident and Police are now asking for any witnesses to come forward.
The up! and a Citroen Picasso parked next to it were damaged to the tune of around £10,000.

Police know exactly who did this, they have been provided with evidence, motive and reasonable suspicion but they have 'REFUSED' to question the suspect. I will not name him, but he is a well know police informer from Skelmersdale.
He tried to kill my family in this attack, and has already had a police caution for threatening to kill them previously. Police prefer to protect him than my children.
