There was a 'rambling' introduction to the opening of a new look public footpath in Aughton this weekend - and for good reason!

Around 40 ramblers young and old enthusiastically joined in the short walk from Winifred Lane to Church Lane on the improved path which ended on a celebratory note with folk enjoying traditional ramblers fare of soup and sandwiches provided by Aughton Catering (http://www.aughtoncatering.co.uk/) at St. Michael's Church Hall.
