Please could you value this ceramic tile? It is dated 1832 on the back. Made in Etruria. Back of tile says 'Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Etruria'
The date:1832 looks like it is written in pencil so i don't know how accurate it is.

I would not say the tile was made in 1832

But I will say it is a very interesting tile and would carry a good price tag.

The Southport old hospital I have been told had many of the children's wards with tiled walls. I would imagine a tile like this would have come from somewhere like that.

The tile looks to be made in the 20th century not the 19th .

a great item. I would not be surprised in auction if it brought nearer £100 than £10

but as I always say ................it is just an opinion
