It ended in chaos a few months ago - and tonight there's another Borough cabinet meeting to consider the latest aspects of the 'tweaked' local plan.
And in the eyes of the feisty Aughton Residents Group, it's still as controversial as ever - although they won't have the chance to register their concerns at this evening's meeting as locals have technically missed the deadline to do just that.
That in itself has irked people like ARG's Colin Atkinson (pictured, nearest the camera) who found out by default about the cabinet meeting - and was too late to register his application to address councillors.
Given the amount of opposition to the plans in Aughton and elsewhere, a slow handclap might have to suffice tonight...

For the many not the few! Well the many want to be heard! Listen!
If residents want to speak then they should be allowed, its the residents that count! not council members who come and go, all with their own political agenda!
Councillors! Try supporting residents, now that would be a novalty!
