A comment heard in one of the queues at Home Bargains this week as a lady who had just returned from holiday in Iceland got to grips with the 'panic' in local shops.
That was amply illustrated in the same store yesterday morning when a lady shopper kicked off about a shortage of sausages there...
One member of staff took in cakes for fellow colleagues yesterday afternoon in a bid to cheer them up, given the insults some are receiving for no good reason. Shoppers have taken to 'stealing' stock off the cages as they are brought onto the shop floor, he added.
