The team at Woodlands would like to wish all their supporters a very happy and healthy 2020! At the start of a brand new decade the sanctuary’s sights are set on the continued growth of their rescue and rehab centre, to continue helping sick, abandoned and unwanted pets and wildlife. However, alongside this, they are also looking to grow their outreach programme too, which aims to allow people of all ages and from all walks of life to engage with animals and educate them about their health and care.
Bringing a spot of magic to the new year are the newest members of the Woodlands family. The rescue charity has taken in three pygmy goats to live with their existing goats and sheep and supporters of the sanctuary have named the new trio Harry, Ron & Hermione! The team are however hoping that this trio don’t get up to quite the same level of adventures as the famous trio they are named after!
This trio will be taking some of the strain from Bert & Ernie and will be flying out as part of the charity’s education and outreach programme to visit schools, groups and clubs.
