Report: Sue Hodgkins
On Monday afternoon, members of Burscough's WoolnChat group set out to judge the best Christmas window in the village.
It was a cold but dry late afternoon tour that resulted in meeting in the Hopvine for a coffee and mince pie with Nicola from Burscough Parish Council with the results.
The group enjoyed spending time admiring all the wonderful displays and decision making was tough but in the end by a unanimous vote for first place The Village Barbers with their amazing hand painted snow scene was awarded the shield and a monetary prize which thrilled them to bits.
In second place was Esquire Barbers and third place was Profile Hair!
