A terrified asylum seeker living in Skem and who'd found many new friends at an Aughton church has been moved to a new home by Police after a yob attack last week.
Police yesterday confirmed that a 29-year-old local man - thought to be the ringleader of a group who targetted the Afghan man's home on Willow Hey - was arrested at 8am on Thursday morning.
He and fellow yobs smashed the man's windows 'because he'd brought coronavirus to Skem.' The man has been charged with religious/racial related criminal damage
The man has been attending Aughton Park Baptist Church for the last few months saying he's now found new friends in England.
He is now in E. Lancashire with police trying to move him back to west Lancs. - he ideally wants to live in Ormskirk or Liverpool where his now enrolled on a college course.
