A busy paying in machine damaged at the Halifax in Ormskirk could be out of service until Monday.
Customers can pay in up to £500 without having to queue at the counter - or did until it was damaged after a customer tried to pay in over £500...
In their efforts to fix it, a member of staff only made things worse, breaking a key component which only an engineer could fix.
One was unable to call out yesterday and is expected on Monday when normal service will be resumed.

Charge the muppet with the repair bill and train staff not to get involved with stuff they aren't qualified in
