'The Champion would like to share some exciting news and announce that our printed edition will be back next week!

This will be our first publication since March 18th, when we had to stop due to the lockdown. We would like to thank everyone who has got in touch over the past few months and helped us keep our social media platforms full of content.

We’ve loved hearing from you and finding out what you’ve been getting up to during the lockdown.

Although the newspaper is back next week, we still want to keep our Facebook, Twitter and website full of all the news from your area.

Sadly, many folk say they haven't actually missed it - what future for it and the failing Ormskirk Advertiser now that more and more locals want fresh, daily unique local content rather than a paper full of recycled press releases and a smattering of readers' letters?
