Christmas came early for over 150 pensioners after a fabulous free Christmas party at The Civic on Monday.
This was the second annual Christmas event for Ormskirk Senior Citizens hosted by McComb property students - and they've already started planning for next year!
Its student tenants from Edge Hill kindly volunteered to be waiters and waitresses for the day and thoroughly enjoyed speaking with their guests.
Over 150 Christmas dinners were provided in partnership with GWF Catering (Brooke’s Bistro) and each guest received a home-made mince pie to take away kindly donated by Love To Eat.
There was live entertainment from Martin Young, a Christmas themed quiz and raffle.
A spokesman for McComb students told QLocal: "We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the event and it was great to see so many guests return after last year’s success.
"We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!"
