Staff were sent home early at Mawdesley's popular Cedar Farm cafe yesterday after a water main was damaged in Chorley.
From UU website on Friday morning: 'We're currently investigating a problem in your area, which may mean you have no water, or low water pressure.
We're sorry for any inconvenience this is causing, we are working as quickly as we can to get this sorted and have your taps flowing again.
We will provide you with an update once we know more.'
This was one of just 13 messages posted by the company over the weekend after the main was damaged by another company working in the town with UU having to 'pick up the pieces'
None of the farm's other businesses were affected although it was a lot quieter on Saturday morning than usual.
