It's a one-day family history and heritage event organised with the support of the North-West Group of Family History Societies, and already shaping up to be a great event.

It's taking place at the Langham Hall, Emmanuel Methodist United Reformed Church, Derby Street, Ormskirk between 10am and 4pm; organised as a way to start off the celebrations for Ormskirk and District Family History Society’s 40th anniversary in early 2020, it will be free to attend and will bring together a variety of groups and organisations with a passion for the past.

Visitors can call on the advice of representatives from the Lancashire Archives in Preston, Ormskirk Historical Society, the North-West branch of the Catholic Family History Society, North Meols (Southport) Family History Society, Cumbria Family History Society, and Skelmersdale and Upholland Family History Society, and the organisers hope that other local heritage groups will also be able to join them on the day.
