Rufford Vets can now offer Behaviour Clinics at the Southport Branch.

One of our Vets and one of our Nurses, Emily and Dawn have recently undertaken a certificate in Canine and Feline Behaviour. This means we are now able to offer you behavioural consultations on a one to one basis.

The process involves filling in a questionnaire and either returning it to our Southport branch at reception or via email: behaviour@ruffordvets.co.uk.

You will be contacted by a member of the team within 7-10 working days to arrange a mutually convenient appointment time.

We are here to help with your pet’s behavioural issues that can include but are not limited to separation anxiety, noise phobias and aggression. You may have rescued a pet with an underlying behavioural issue or you may have a pet that has developed a behavioural issue, no matter the cause we are happy to look into the information you provide in your questionnaire and talk to you about solutions.

We will endeavour to do our best for you and your pet however; there will be some behaviours that require long-term management. It is important that you are aware as an owner; you will be required to strictly follow instructions and work with your pet at home to achieve the desired results.
